As Walt saw the warm light of the double sun for the first time, his home
planet Hip E was a contemplative oasis in the middle of the collapsing
systems of N Gol. Walt's childhood and youth was determined by his
parent's life as musicians, the artistic family lived a modest but happy
life on the road. Walt's parents took great care for a good
education of their musically extraordinary talented, but
also very idle sun. Even as a child he stood on the
stages of clubs, as teenager Walt extensively toured
with his own bands across the continents of Hip E.
The systems collapse reached even this remote corner of the galaxy, and hard times dawned for the habitants of
Hip E. No longer capable to make a living from playing music, and therefore deprived of their meaning of life, Walt's
family drifted into a deep crisis. The parental drug consumption completely got out of control, the formerly
functional family got into a free fall. Walt decided to leave Hip E to try his fortune in N Gol city, the capitol of the
central planet.
Arriving at N Gol with his last funds Walt realized he was only one of many, many musicians. The fierce
competition and the struggle for survival amongst the impoverished artists of the system capitol were a lot harder
than on his beloved home planet. Without money the return to Hip E was impossible, he muddled through with working in one of
the grungy fast food restaurants in the space port of N Gol city, spending long days grilling OX-burgers. When the captain of a
cargo freight ship offered a free flight to him (in exchange to the musical entertainment for the crew), he left the hated capitol of N
Gol and went on his long way back to Hip E, burned out and disillusioned. During the sub light journey he met N Erd for the first
time and rescued the genius but socially clumsy scientist various times from the assaults of the freight-ship-crew. A long mutual
way for Walt and N Erd began on this flight to Hip E.

had disappeared without a trace during Walt's long absence. Poverty and anarchy dominated the
life on the planet. He got the opportunity to perform at one of the clubs, but was only allowed to
play "CantRee", the favourite music of smugglers. Walt hated these songs for being boring and
stupid, but he was happy not to have to survive by flipping burgers again. In the smuggler club he
met Mizzez; they had a short affair out of which a close friendship developed. Driven by the
vision to escape the misery on Hip E with their own music, they began to write songs. Walt's
creativity and sensibility where perfectly supplemented by the capabilities of the extra ordinary
intelligent and disciplined Mizzez. These songs were the foundation for a band later on known as
Noggfish. Walt had no clue, that he was about to write galactic music history.
Walt, being very self-confident while performing, is really shy and introverted aside the stage. The
whole hype regarding the band and his repeated vote as "sexiest male organic carbon based life-
form alive" is still rather unpleasant to him. Walt is happy about his musical freedom, but he very
often suffers from the loneliness that comes with being a pan-galactic rock star...
